The Hope Church family needs your help to show the love of Jesus to this precious couple, Earl and Pat Jones.
You’ve likely never heard of Earl and Pat because God called them to serve small churches in rural West Virginia for the majority of their ministry. Earl was a bi-vocational pastor and Pat was a faithful wife and mother. Together, they served Jesus, the church and their family with very little financial support.
Now, at 80 years old, Earl’s health has declined to the point that he has been hospitalized and has fallen multiple times. However, his own health battles haven’t diminished his responsibilities as he cares for his wife, Pat who is suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s disease.
Sadly, they have no real financial assets left and very little retirement, due to their limited ministry income throughout their lifetime. For that reason, Hope Church is stepping up to do all that we can to help make Jesus Visible in their situation.
Our goal, as a family of 14 churches, is to raise $20,000 in total. Together, we can help this very deserving couple during this difficult season of life. Hope Church will be collecting financial gifts as a part of their Visible Jesus Initiative throughout the month of July.
